Fault description
The car kept dropping into limp mode, which limited the available gear ratios – only the even gears worked, or occasionally just first gear. Computer diagnostics revealed a fault in the transmission control unit (TCU) together with incorrect solenoid valve operation. The problem was solved by replacing the damaged components and running a gearbox adaptation, restoring full functionality.
