No — a dynamic oil change carried out by experienced specialists is completely safe. We work with controlled pressure and temperature. The dynamic change itself is gentler than a traditional one because it runs without removing the sump — the sump only comes off when the oil filter is being replaced at the same time.
When can a dynamic oil change not be carried out?
We do not carry out a dynamic oil change on very old, high-mileage gearboxes (over 300,000 km with no previous oil changes), on gearboxes with serious mechanical damage, where there is metal debris in the oil, or where there are clear signs of clutch damage.
Is a gearbox adaptation needed after a dynamic oil change?
In most cases yes, especially on modern electronically controlled gearboxes. After the oil change we run an adaptation reset and a road test so that the gearbox relearns the optimal shift parameters with the new oil.
